This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Animweb Technologies ("Company", "we", "us" or "our") collects, processes, retains, uses, shares and protects information from visitors, clients, learners, prospects and users (collectively, "you") of our websites, sub-domains, applications, products, services, programmes and any digital property operated by or on behalf of the Company — including but not limited to AwT Labs, AwT Academy, AwT Media, AwT Consultancy and the product Presence (the "Platform").
This Policy must be read together with our Terms & Conditions, which govern your overall use of the Platform. Where the Terms and this Policy differ, the broader of the two shall apply, as determined by the Company.

Depending on how you interact with the Platform, we may collect the following categories of information:
2.1 Information You Provide
- Identity & Contact Data: name, email address, phone number, physical address, organization name, job title, designation.
- Account & Profile Data: username, password (hashed), profile image, preferences, role, enrolment information.
- Transaction Data: details about engagements, purchase history, invoices, billing details and payment references (we do not store full card numbers — these are handled by payment processors).
- Communication Data: any messages, requirements, files, feedback, attachments, testimonials or correspondence shared with us through any channel.
- Programme Data: in the case of AwT Academy, this may include educational records, attendance, assessment results, certificates, intern feedback and project submissions.
- Operational Data: for users of Presence or other in-house products — attendance markings, session timestamps, device-level signals required for the product to function.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device model, screen resolution, language, time zone, network identifiers.
- Usage Data: pages viewed, sections accessed, features used, click events, navigation paths, time spent, referring URLs, exit URLs, error logs.
- Location Data: approximate location derived from IP address; in the case of Presence, geo-coordinates if and only if you have explicitly enabled location-based attendance.

2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from analytics providers, hosting providers, communication tools, social-media platforms, identity-verification services, payment processors and partners with whom you have a separate relationship.
3. How We Collect
We collect information when you fill out forms, contact us, sign up, enrol in a programme, purchase a service or product, participate in a survey, communicate with us, browse our Platform, accept cookies, or otherwise interact with our offerings. By doing any of the above, you confirm your consent to such collection.

The Company uses the collected information for the following lawful and legitimate purposes — without limitation:
- To provide, operate, maintain, secure and improve the Platform, Services and products.

The Company does not sell personal information. However, we may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers & Vendors: with hosting providers, cloud platforms, analytics providers, communication tools, email providers, payment processors and IT contractors, strictly under appropriate confidentiality obligations and only to the extent necessary to deliver our Services.
- Within Verticals: across AwT Labs, AwT Academy, AwT Media, AwT Consultancy and our products, as the Company operates these as a unified group of services.

- Account, transaction and engagement records may be retained for the duration of the relationship and at least seven (7) years thereafter for compliance and dispute purposes.
- Course and certification data under AwT Academy may be retained indefinitely to support verification of credentials.
- Marketing and prospect data may be retained until you opt out and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping.
- Aggregated, anonymised or de-identified data may be retained indefinitely without restriction.
The Company reserves the right to determine retention periods at its sole discretion in accordance with its internal policies and applicable law.
10. Security Measures
The Company implements reasonable and industry-aligned technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication, secure infrastructure and ongoing monitoring.
11. Your Limited Rights
Subject to applicable law and the Company's legitimate interests, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Access: request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: request deletion of personal information, subject to our retention obligations and legitimate interests.
- Withdrawal of Consent: withdraw any consent previously granted, where processing is based on consent.
- Opt-Out of Marketing: unsubscribe from non-essential communications using the link provided in any such communication or by contacting us directly.
Requests must be submitted in writing to animwebtechnologies@gmail.com with sufficient information to verify your identity. The Company reserves the right to:
- Verify the request before acting upon it.
- Refuse or limit a request that is unreasonable, repetitive, manifestly unfounded, or that would compromise the rights of others, the security of our systems or our legal obligations.
- Charge a reasonable fee for excessive or repeated requests, to the extent permitted by law.
- Retain certain information notwithstanding a deletion request, for legal, regulatory, accounting, dispute-resolution or fraud-prevention purposes.
The Company shall endeavour to respond to valid requests within thirty (30) days, but shall not be liable for delays caused by verification, complexity or volume.
12. Minors
The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without verifiable parental or guardian consent. If you believe a minor has provided us information without such consent, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
13. International Data Transfers
Information may be processed and stored on servers located in India or in any country where our service providers operate. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer, storage and processing of your information in such jurisdictions, which may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
